Empowering People to Live Their Best Lives

We have been part of the BrightStar community for several months now. In early October our lives changed forever. Our youngest daughter had a brain surgery that altered everything about her. She now has a trach and gj tube. As well as being on a ventilator at times. She basically has to relearn everything she once knew. She is doing great now but it is a very slow process. Fast forward to February and we were released to go home with nursing. I was totally against having nurses in our home. This was something that I thought we would not need. We were given the name of Leigh from BrightStar. We met her and she met our daughter. Leigh told us she would pick a team for our daughter and she promised to screen every applicant and employee to find who would be best suited and specific for our daughter. BrightStar did not disappoint when picking nurses for our daughter/home. Our team of nurses are amazing! They mesh so well with our family. Actually at this point we consider them family. We are able to get back into the groove of life and know that our sweet baby is in the best care possible. Very respectful, qualified, caring nurses is what we have been blessed with. We could not imagine life without them at this point in life. We are so lucky and so is our daughter. Putting her health and care into someone else’s hands was a tough decision to make. 🌟Bright Star🌟 makes it easy to communicate with them. They’re charting and control substance logs, mean that everyone is up-to-date and aware of what has been given to our daughter throughout the day. We never have to stress about will a nurse be here or not. They have that all situated and any times that we need something covered, it is covered. they are fast and knowledgeable about situations. We truly are blessed to be able to have them here. We are able to get sleep when needed. We are able to attend children’s school events cheer events. My husband was able to return to his job at Louisville Metro. We could not ask for more From a company. If you find yourself questioning if a company is right for you, if you actually need nursing in your home, or if you are like me and think you do not need nursing at all, I believe that speaking with 🌟Bright Star🌟 will change your mind. From the owners, to the office, staff, to the nurses and home… Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter looks at her nurses as her best friends. At this point in our lives, I am not sure where we would be without the wonderful team from 🌟Bright Star🌟 The experience that we had to live through was horrible, but 🌟Bright Star🌟 has definitely made our days brighter. We are so thankful and feel Blessed.

We have had a couple of emergency situations arise (having someone in the situation our daughter is in means that stats can change at the drop of a hat) and the nurses were quick to respond and get the situation under control without us having to call for other help. We are able to get sleep when needed. Cook dinner. We are able to attend children’s school events. Go to our other daughters cheer events. My husband was able to return to his job at Louisville Metro. We could not ask for more From a company. We are truly blessed too be a part of the 🌟Bright Star🌟 family. It was an uneasy feeling leaving my mom in the care of folks we didn’t know and she didn’t know but the caregivers have been so helpful, patient and willing to work around the clock to be sure mom wasn’t navigating recovery and confusion alone. I’ve been so relieved knowing Bright Star was there! When your jobs dictate rigorous timeframes and full time care is unexpectedly needed, Bright Star goes to work and eases the anxiousness with gentle professionalism and prompt response. What a great company and staff to work with!

The care we received through Brightstar is above and beyond expectations! We are so grateful to have inherited new family members from the caregivers as that is exactly how they felt. Thank you for taking care of our mother when we were unable to be there! Forever grateful! 💕

I cannot tell you how fine BrightStar is. For several years there was caregiving for my husband with Alzheimer’s dementia. They were compassionate caring, always upbeat, and in valuable source of support for our family.During the last few years Yvonne H was our caregiver she was always on time she was always up beat ,she always had some new idea.
