Mirtha has been extremely helpful to me. She exhibits a lot of initiative and patience . She is very reliable and absolutely caring, she is compassionate.

My father-in-law lives in an assisted living community and was recently sent to the hospital after developing significant weakness in his legs. It turned out that he had an infection. By Thursday afternoon, the hospital nursing staff told us he was doing well—walking around his room and getting to the bathroom, even while managing an IV pole and catheter. We expected him to return to his assisted living apartment on Friday. Knowing that staffing at his community is more limited on weekends, we contacted BrightStar to arrange some extra support in his apartment over the three-day weekend. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made. By the time he arrived home Friday, he was again relying on a wheelchair and needed assistance from one person. Over the weekend his needs increased even further, and by Monday the assisted living nurse determined that he required two-person assistance. We were incredibly grateful that BrightStar was able to arrange around-the-clock care on such short notice, especially over a weekend. The BrightStar caregivers were attentive to all of his needs. We knew in advance who would be coming for each shift, which helped Dad feel more comfortable with unfamiliar people caring for him. Just as importantly, they kept our family informed throughout the weekend, so we knew how he was doing and didn't have to constantly worry. We can't recommend BrightStar highly enough for what they did for Dad and our family.

Brightstar provided excellent care for my elderly mother while she was in independent living. They were flexible, reliable, had excellent communication and they submitted the long term care invoices directly to her insurance company in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them

Overall, I felt like the quality of my care was important to this company. The response time to calls or emails was very good. My primary home health care aide was Denea, and she was very courteous and willing to do whatever I asked of her. She was a huge help. I did get a charge for one hour for a reassessment from the nursing staff I didn't expect, and Brightstar worked with me on reducing the charge.

We have had a year plus of homecare and had excellent care and poor care. BrightStar qualifies at the top of the list. Aids are well trained, prompt, and willing to help where needed. Communication has been really good. Supervisors and nurses keep us informed of changes and make sure we are involved in decisions and progress. They are amongst the best.

All of the care giving team for my dad were superb. Kathy the nurse, Callie the nurse, Sayge the PCA were so wonderful and helpful. And Rosalyn was also excellent on the 2 visits she had with my dad. My dad was in good hands with the Bright Star team. We are grateful for them.

Brightstar Care has been an absolute delight to work with for the needs of my 98 year old Independant Living father. He's not quite ready for Assisted Living but needs help with his meds (nursing) and weekly things like shopping, laundry, cleaning etc. (caregiving). Arica handles the nursing scheduling and Katie the caegiving, both are just a phone call or email away and super resposive. After a recent fall Dad's immediate needs increased tenfold, Arica and Katie stepped up and delivered overnight! Nurses and caregivers have been at his side giving his the care he needs until assisted living opens up in about a week. The staff has been unbelievably friendly, professional, hard woking, on time, I can't say enough. I would like to thank them all by name but I'm afraid I would leave one or more out and that wouldn't be fair. Heather has put together a first class team of people who truly care about our loved ones. Thank you to all of you on behalf of my father and my whole family.

If you have a child with a disease that requires a nurse to give an injection - I hope you get matched with BrightStar. My son's nurse, Arica, is like the best human being I've met in a long time. She's punctual, communicative, hilarious, and has become a part of the family in a way. I know where we stand with each other, my son who will be 14 soon, adores her even if he doesn't "show" it lol. She really is the 🐝 🦵! ❤️ I hope she gets a raise soon!!

BrightStar Care is amazing. My 88 year old Dad needed a lot of help at the end of his life. All the staff sent from Brightstar from the very skilled nurses to the home health aides were personable, caring, patient, gentle and attentive to my Dad. He bragged all the time about how he was receiving such good care from all "his ladies". Our correspondence with office staff was also exceptional. Even the owner took the time to follow up with us when needed. I can't say enough good things about BrightStar Care. I would not hesitate to recommend or use them again for any of our loved ones.

Brighstar Care is a fabulous care facility, there staff goes above and beyond all the time, they are caring, giving, thoughtful and just a joy as they give their all to my care and needs, I could not have asked for a better provider for my needs. I would like to add that Sayge my CareGiver is incredibly helpful and is full of joy and I love having her come every week to my home, I would not have it any other way, I will continue to have BrightStar Care come to my home for a long time to come for the foreseeable future.
