Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Mid-Missouri

Kristine has been owner of the Mid-Missouri BrightStar Care since it opened in March of 2014.  She moved to Columbia in 2008 because it looked like a great place to raise a family, and it truly has been just that.  Giving back to the community that has helped raise her kids by providing high quality home care has always been a top priority.

Shelly has been a nurse with Brightstar Care since shortly after we opened in 2014. She became our Director of Nursing in 2024, and she has been working tirelessly to get our patients the best quality care around.  Schedule your living room visit with Shelly to set up home care today!

Once a part-time aide, then our Customer Service Manager, Dara has worked her way to becoming our Director of Operations.  She is propelling us towards excellence by hiring a higher standard of caregivers and reaching out to our local population to tell them about our services.

Jakayla keeps us all on time and where we are supposed to be.  She is the link between the caregiver and the clients and the office!  We are lucky to have her keeping things running smoothly each day.  When you call the office, you will most likely speak with her.
