You are not required to have a formal license to work as a caregiver with BrightStar Care of Mid-Missouri. This is because caregivers are considered non-medical care providers.
Caregivers who provide personal care assistance and ADL support—such as certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs)—are required to have state-approved training and certification.
Our caregivers and nurses are scheduled based on the following factors:
- the needs of our clients in the Mid-Missouri area
- the level of skill needed for home care services
- schedule/hours availability
We try to maintain low ratios and caseloads so that our caregivers and nurses can get the work-life balance they want and have time to build meaningful relationships with clients.
