Elder Caregiving in the Age of COVID on Thursday, March 18 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm

The novel coronavirus has changed everything this year. And that includes how we care for our loved ones. Our elders are at high risk for infection. And we can’t provide the care we used to the same way we once did. So, what can we do – and what can we not? We’ll talk about how the virus has affected caregiving, how to establish and honor boundaries, and what resources are out there to help us provide the best care possible for those we love. Individual questions will be encouraged and addressed, and resources for further assistance will be provided.

About the Facilitator:
Our speaker is Lucille H. Deutsch, CALA, CMC. Lucy is a certified geriatric care manager with LHD Eldercare Solutions and a member of the Steering Committee of the Caregivers Coalition of Morris County. She has been a caregiver to two generations of her own family and is passionate about advocating for the highest quality of life for the aging population and those who care for them.

Due to grant restrictions, in order to participate, you must be a caregiver, and either you or the person you are caring for must live in Morris County and/or:
