Alexandra is compassionate and has an enthusiastic personality sure to be compatible with all our clients. She was an emergency room technician and EMT prior to earning her Bachelors in Nursing where she worked with patients of all ages. She has worked in critical care units and the the emergency room prior to venturing into home care. She saw many patients in the emergency room that with quality home care could stay in their homes rather than end up in the hospital. It is with this knowledge and passion that she joins us at Brightstar Care of North Houston Metro.

Hello, I’m Kaitlin Hernandez, the Sales Manager of BrightStar care of Houston North-Metro, and I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. With 24 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I understand the importance of personalized, respectful, and professional care. My mission is to support families and loved ones by providing information to our community and to other healthcare providers so we can all work as a team. This way we not only meet their needs but also help them maintain their dignity and independence.

Our Director of Nursing Kimberly Jones MSN-Ed, RN is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University and The University of Texas at Arlington with her bachelor degree and masters degree in nursing with 11 years of nursing experience and 16 years of healthcare experience beginning her career as a nursing assistant at the age of 18. She specializes in leadership, consulting, nursing education, and public health with a vast nursing experience ranging from medical surgical inpatient, operating room, community health/public health, school nursing, college level teaching, and managerial roles. Kimberly has a unique business skill set which has allowed her to start and scale start up businesses, expanded her healthcare and business network, and won thousands of dollars in grant money for mastering business storytelling and business plans.She has a passion for health equity and is on a mission to eliminate health disparities in underserved communities and promote equitable health within our communities and societies among black and brown persons. Kimberly has led several initiatives in her career-to name a few- implementing a district wide telehealth program in 44 schools, public speaking at national conferences, trained over 2,000 employees related to compliance, assisted with EMR documentation audits and supervised and mentored over a dozen of registered nurses and nursing students.

Kimberly has 2 boys Bryce and Braylon. She loves to travel, try new foods/experience different cultures, strengthen her relationship with God, and learn new things related to entrepreneurship and career development.
