This month, we are thrilled to recognize one of our outstanding nurses, Gabi, as May’s Employee of the Month. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her patients truly set her apart.
Gabi has taken on the challenge of caring for new patients in the Upper Peninsula with grace and determination. Despite a growing caseload, she never hesitates to adjust her schedule to ensure her patients receive the care they need—always going above and beyond to make each visit as smooth and seamless as possible.
What makes Gabi truly special is her incredible attitude. Her patients are always welcomed with a warm smile and kind words, and it’s clear that her positive energy is as healing as her clinical care. It’s no wonder her patients genuinely look forward to their time with her.
With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Gabi brings a wealth of knowledge and versatility to her role. She’s worked in emergency rooms, correctional facilities, as a traveling nurse, and even served as a nursing instructor. Now thriving in in-home care, she shares that although she was initially nervous, she quickly discovered just how fulfilling home-care could be.
“Home care has been so amazing” Gabi says. “I love taking care of my patients in an environment comfortable for them. Getting to know them and their families is incredibly rewarding”.
Outside of work, Gabi enjoys spending time with family and friends. She’s also grateful for the support she receives from her team. “Thanks to BrightStar Care, I’m blessed with a flexible schedule, and wonderful team members that are always willing to help.”
