We’re thrilled to recognize Gloria as October’s shining star! Gloria truly exemplifies the qualities of a caring and skilled healthcare professional. Gloria began her nursing journey in Saginaw, MI, working in the Burn Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital right out of nursing school. Over the years, she’s worked her way up the state—previously providing home care in Cadillac, MI before settling in Traverse City.
When asked what drew her to home care, Gloria shared,
“I chose home care because of my love of taking care of patients and my proficiency in starting IVs for home infusions. I also enjoy the variety it brings with wound care, blood draws, and more.”
Gloria’s wide skill set is very impressive; from infusions to wound care, medication administration, and more, she tackles each task with precision and professionalism. Her passion for patient care shines through in everything she does, bringing both skill and heart to each visit.

Outside of work, Gloria loves spending time with her sons, George, a high school senior, and Jacob, who attends Michigan Tech. Together, they enjoy getting outdoors and taking walks with their chocolate lab, Samson, especially during this beautiful fall season.
