Meet Ryan, an entrepreneur with a passion for making a difference in people's lives. Ryan’s career path has been both diverse and impactful. A seasoned professional with a background in commercial and healthcare banking, he held a dream of venturing into the realm of business ownership, driven by a desire to create solutions that positively impact people’s lives. His heart has always been in helping others, which led him on a journey to start up a home health agency. With his strategic mindset and compassionate nature, Ryan is dedicated to building Brightstar Care of Omaha into an agency that prioritizes personalized care and empowers individuals to live their best lives.

We are thrilled to welcome Shari to our BrightStar Care family! With more than 20 years of nursing experience, including ICU, cardiac care, and private duty nursing. Shari brings an incredible blend of clinical expertise and compassionate leadership to our team. She shared that stepping into this role is an honor, and she’s excited to support families, our nurses and aides, and most importantly, the patients we serve every day.

Outside of work, Shari stays busy with her two energetic 90-pound labs, dives into creative projects with laser engravers and 3D printers, and enjoys being active in her church community.

Shari has already infused our team with fresh ideas and uplifting energy, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll continue to make as we grow together.

Meet Samantha, a seasoned occupational therapist working for over a decade in skilled rehab and home healthcare. Her experiences have not only enriched their professional journey but have also provided invaluable insights into today's evolving world of home care. Samantha started her health care journey as a CNA at a young age in home care which started a passion for what they do at Brightstar Care. After working as an occupational therapist in skilled rehab settings, she realized that she missed the personal connection that in-home care can bring. This led her on a new journey alongside her husband, Ryan, and together they're the driving force behind Brightstar Care of Omaha.

When Samantha and Ryan are not at work, they love spending quality time with their three young children who keep them busy with soccer, baseball, and volleyball. They enjoy volunteering at their children’s school, helping with classroom events, and school fundraisers. The family enjoys golfing together and cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Both Samantha and Ryan are passionate about giving back and look forward to many years of making a positive impact in their community through BrightStar Care.
