End-of-Life Planning: Your Final Arrangements
03-Jun
 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

About the Event
Just as families plan for a wedding, a baby or buying a home, they may want to do advance funeral planning, too. Avoiding the topic will make eventually trying to respect your wishes more difficult, and likely more expensive, for your loved ones. And many people find great meaning and peace in carrying out funeral plans that honor their loved one’s wishes.

Topics to be covered include:
Your rights when dealing with funeral homes
Pre-planning final arrangements vs. pre-paying for them
Donating your organs or donating your body for medical research and training
Your body disposition options (terramation, cremation, aquamation, burial) and creating directives about what you prefer
Planning the ceremony you want
Garrick Colwell, co-founder of Kitchen Table Conversations, will facilitate this webinar.

This class, part of a series taught by Charlotte, N.C., fitness instructor Elizabeth Moakler, will get you moving to the Zumba rhythms and explore the connection between dance and a healthy brain.

Besides delivering cardiovascular and muscle-strengthening benefits and supporting weight loss, regular aerobic exercise has been shown to contribute to brain health and aid memory and focus. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.

Somatic Breathwork
28-Jun
07:30 pm to 09:30 pm

About this Event
Welcome to Connect with the Breath. I am dedicated to helping you acheive holistic wellness through a somatic breathwork practice. My approach is to guide you on your journey towards emotional and spiritual well being. I am living proof that the body has the natural ability to heal from within and I strive to create a safe and nurturing space for self discovery and healing.

Please arrive 10-20 minutes early. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late you will be asked to attend the next group or private session, doors will be locked to prevent interruption. You will be asked to turn your cell phone completely off and leave outside of the studio. Please wear comfortable clothing as you will be lying down for this event. Clothing you would wear to yoga is advised. Please bring your yoga mat, water bottle with a lid, and chapstick. Avoid eating any heavy meals for at least two hours prior to session. Blankets, eye masks and pillow props will be provided.

Somatic Breathwork is designed to activate the nervous system in a controlled manner for the first half of the session. With that being said, if you have uncontrolled anxiety or have been in fight or flight for a prolonged period of time, I ask that you please reach out to me for a privately guided 1:1 session at connectwiththebreath.com. Soma means body and this type of breathwork allow you to feel fully into your body releasing trauma that has trapped itself within the fascia of the body. The second half of the journey we will access the parasympathetic nervous system and create a repatterning in the nervous system. When the body creates this space it allows room for us to once again connect to our true selves.

Consult your physician prior to this practice if you have any known medical conditions. Do not attend if you are pregnant. Somatic breathwork will be at your own risk, please note you are always in control of your journey. You should not do somatic or holotropic breathwork if you have any of the following conditions:

-Cardiovasclar disease such as heart attack, angina, uncontrolled high blood pressure, atrial fibrulation, blood clots, or stroke.
-Epilepsy or history of seizures
-Glaucoma, retinal detachment, or unexplained vision problems
-Recent surgery
-Severe mental illness, uncontrolled anxiety or heavy antipsychotic medications

-Morbidly obese

This month's topic is the downside of artificial intelligence. While AI has great potential to improve medicine, education, research and global connectivity, it is also a relatively inexpensive tool used by scammers to spread misinformation and disinformation and commit fraud.

In the future, experts fear, we will have great difficulty separating the fake from reality. This session offers a brief look at AI and the potential for fraud against veterans.

End-of-Life Planning: Your Final Arrangements
04-Mar
 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Join this webinar to explore funeral-planning essentials, from your rights and the costs to meaningful ceremonies and body disposition options.

Discover how geese embody collaborative care principles like shared leadership, interdependence and trust - helping us overcome resistance to receiving help.

About the Event

For most people rooted in Western culture, it is difficult to ask for and receive help. However, the reality is that we will all need help due to the challenges posed by aging and/or illness. How are we to overcome our resistance to assistance? Well, our friend the goose has much to teach us.

As geese fly in formation, they embody the essential ingredients of collaborative care: shared leadership, interdependence, self-care, encouragement and trusted relationships. In this enlightening session with aging expert Jane W. Barton, we’ll learn about the collaboration of these birds and how emulating them would serve all involved in the caregiving journey well.

Dear Marketing Team,

As the franchise owner of BrightStar Care of Phoenix/Tempe, I would like to request two separate landing pages - one for Phoenix and one for Tempe.

Why This Makes Sense

While I run both territories from one office location, our client base is split evenly between Phoenix and Tempe. Our digital presence should reflect this reality.

This approach aligns with corporate's territory separation strategy and addresses the "nth unit" analytics showing parent locations outperforming additional territories. Having distinct online presences would:

  • Support clearer data separation between territories.
  • Strengthen the secondary territory's performance metrics.
  • Enable targeted marketing for each area's unique demographics.

Territory-Specific Opportunities

As I develop more localized content, I need to address the significant demographic differences between our territories:

  • Age differences: Tempe's younger population (influenced by ASU) versus Phoenix's more diverse age range including families and seniors.
  • Economic variations: Different income levels and employment patterns affecting healthcare affordability and needs.
  • Living arrangements: Higher percentage of rentals and temporary housing in Tempe versus more established households in Phoenix

These differences require tailored messaging and service emphasis that a single landing page cannot effectively address.

Easy Content Solution

With my two weekly blogs, I can simply dedicate one to Phoenix and one to Tempe, incorporating local references without requiring additional resources.

Benefits

Two landing pages would:

  • Enable targeted messaging for each specific community.
  • Improve conversion rates with location-specific content.
  • Boost search rankings for local searches.
  • Create clearer performance metrics for each territory.

I am happy to provide more details as needed. This approach better aligns our online presence with both corporate analytics preferences and the distinct communities we serve.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Thanks

Todd
