At BrightStar Care of Conejo Valley and Coastal Los Angeles, we are proud to support those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia. This year, we participated in two Walks to End Alzheimer’s, one in Conejo Valley and the other in Hermosa Beach, where we helped raise awareness and funds for vital Alzheimer’s research and care.
Before the walk even began, the Alzheimer’s Kickoff Party set the stage for an inspiring event. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to show their support, raise awareness, and get ready to walk for a cure. The energy was contagious, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who participated, donated, or just came out to show their support. Your presence made all the difference!
We are thrilled to share that 25 of our BrightStar Care team members joined the Conejo Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising an impressive $8,076—the second highest fundraising total of the event! With 570 participants and 92 teams, the community came together to make a real impact. This year, we walked in honor of Susan Magpiong, whose strength and courage continue to inspire us. Her photo was featured in the Promise Garden, a powerful reminder of why we walk: for hope, for love, and for a cure.
73% of all funds raised from the walk will go directly to Alzheimer’s research, furthering the efforts to find a cure. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and supported this vital cause.
The Hermosa Beach Pier was filled with energy and hope for the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Beach Cities. Families, caregivers, advocates, and local organizations gathered together, united in the mission to end Alzheimer’s disease.
