I continue to be so grateful to BrightStar Care for the consistent quality of the caregivers & nurses they have sent to my home on behalf of my mother. Lauren Cox & Amy Ward were sent as nurses to do a health assessment on my mom; they were highly skilled, fully invested in her welfare & made me feel assured she was in the best of hands. This was followed up by a caregiving session with Lisa Emerson, a sensitive & wonderfully kind human being.

I just wanted to take a moment to say that the incredible team at BrightStar Care went above and beyond to help me during a tough time with my husband. He needed more care than I could give him by myself. Thank you so much for answering all my questions and making a not-so-great situation a little easier to handle.

Following an eventful surgery on my father, the hospital sent him home with a catheter. He's 89yrs and the surgery took a real toll. He lives alone and the surgery made him extremely weak. Ok, what am I supposed to do now? He can barely stand/walk, I am far from a caregiver. A catheter? It was supposed to be a routine surgery. What am I going to do? I live in San Diego. I had no idea what I was going to do. So, with amazing luck on a web search, I came across Brightstar Care. I called immediately, late on a Sunday afternoon, Heather picked up the phone. Wow! That alone was a sign of relief. I explained the situation, she gave me confidence Brightstar would help me out. Whew!! By the next evening, Heather had set up 24hr care for the week. I cannot say how much relief this gave me. To top it off, the two caregivers, Nicole and Sonja were like angels. Sweet, attentive and treated my father as if he was family. Both Nicole and Sonja shared their caregiving skills, showed great patience, tenderness and encouraged my father towards a strong recovery. After the first day I was confident that my dad was in good/strong hands. I returned from San Diego a week later and my dad showed an amazing recovery. At 89 yrs old, I was still not sure he was ready to be on his own. I hired Brightstar for a 2nd week, requesting both Nicole and Sonja to handle the duties. I cannot say enough of how grateful I am for Brightstar, Heather, Nicole and Sonja. It was a great experience from first touch, through the 2 weeks, to the goodbye/thank you hugs to both Nicole and Sonja. Super sweet, caring loving ladies. Nicole even took the time and followed-up to see how my dad was doing several weeks later. Big love to Brightstar and their fantastic staff. -Doug
