No, we do not offer home health care because we're not a Medicare-certified home health agency. We're a private-pay home care provider serving Teaneck, Englewood Cliffs, and the rest of Bergen County. We do offer medical care at home through our high-acuity skilled nursing services, which can include tube feeding, medication management, wound care, and home infusions.

BrightStar Care of Teaneck utilizes two separate home care rate structures: one for skilled nursing and one for non-medical companion and personal care (CHHA).  

In-home nursing costs are typically: 

• $205 for registered nurse (RN) visits, or $190 per hour for longer visits 
• $130 for licensed practical nurse (LPN) visits, or $90 per hour for longer visits 
• $205 flat fee for physical therapy per visit 

For CHHA support, home care costs are: 

• $99 flat fee for a 1-2 hour visit, and $42 billed per hour for hours 3-8 
• $40 per hour for 8-12 hour visits. 

Since we're the employer of record, those fees already include payroll taxes, workers' compensation, and liability coverage, so an on-the-job injury is never something you have to cover out of pocket.

Yes, we offer 24-hour home care in Teaneck, and it can work a couple of different ways, depending on your needs. 

• Live-in care: A caregiver is in the home around the clock and stays overnight so that they’re available for anything that comes up. You only pay for their working hours, not the hours they're asleep. 
• 24/7 care: If you need someone awake and alert the entire time, we set up a rotating schedule with two or three caregivers across shifts to ensure someone is always there to provide care.
