🪖 VA Programs That Can Help Pay for Home Care
Many veterans and their families are unaware that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers programs that can help cover home care services. Two of the most common are:

Aid & Attendance (A&A):
A tax-free monthly benefit for wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need help with daily activities. It can be used to pay for in-home caregivers or personal care assistance. -
Homemaker & Home Health Aide (H/HHA) Program:
A VA health care benefit that provides home care directly through VA-approved providers like BrightStar Care. Veterans must be enrolled in VA health care and receive a referral from their VA physician or social worker.
BrightStar Care of Temecula & Lake Elsinore is proud to be a VA-approved provider for the Homemaker & Home Health Aide Program. We work directly with VA social workers and case managers to coordinate care at no out-of-pocket cost to eligible veterans.
