BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is proud to sponsor and participate in the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Monterey, taking place Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Custom House Plaza in Monterey.
As a local provider of in-home care for older adults and individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, this cause is especially meaningful to our team.
Every day, we have the privilege of supporting individuals, family caregivers, and loved ones navigating the challenges that can come with dementia. Participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s gives us another opportunity to stand alongside these families while supporting greater awareness, education, care, advocacy, and research.

Why the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Matters to Our Team
Alzheimer’s disease and dementia can affect nearly every aspect of daily life, from memory and communication to routines, mobility, personal care, and safety.
The impact also extends beyond the individual. Spouses, children, relatives, and friends often take on significant caregiving responsibilities while balancing their own families, careers, and other commitments.
At BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula, we understand how important dependable support can be for both individuals living with dementia and the people who care for them.
Our goal is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported in familiar surroundings while providing families with additional assistance and peace of mind.

Supporting Family Caregivers
Caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia can be incredibly meaningful, but it can also require significant time, energy, and attention.
Professional in-home care can supplement the care already provided by family members and give caregivers an opportunity to attend to work, appointments, family obligations, or simply take a needed break.
Respite and dementia care can also help family members spend more time being a spouse, son, daughter, sibling, or friend rather than managing every aspect of care alone.
Families who would like to discuss their care needs can contact BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula to speak with a member of our local team.
Walking Together for a Future Without Alzheimer’s
BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is honored to support the Alzheimer’s Association and the many volunteers, families, healthcare professionals, sponsors, and community members who make the Monterey Walk possible.
Whether Alzheimer’s has personally affected your family, you care for individuals living with dementia, or you simply want to support an important community cause, we hope you will join us.
Walk with us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and help make a difference for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
