Owner and Director of OperationsRichard brings over twenty years of comprehensive experience in administrative and operations roles within large public organizations, including a prominent hospital setting. His expertise spans in-home care, administration and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as all aspects of human resources, employee engagement, customer experience, and systems automation.
Driven by a deep passion for helping others, Richard has a strong track record of community involvement, notably serving as President of his local Alzheimer’s Association. His professional journey is marked by a commitment to blending his extensive background with a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on those in need. Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Maria De Avila
Director of NursingMaria De Avila brings more than 38 years of experience in healthcare, including 19 years as a registered nurse caring for patients across a wide range of clinical settings. Her background includes critical care in the ICU, fast paced decision making in the Emergency Room, and comprehensive bedside care on medical surgical units. She has also supported growing families through maternity and post partum care and has extensive experience serving seniors in nursing home environments, always with a steady, compassionate approach and a strong focus on patient safety.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Maria is known for helping patients and families feel informed, heard, and comfortable throughout every stage of care. She is passionate about developing the next generation of nurses and has mentored nursing students from Cabrillo College, sharing both clinical skills and the confidence that comes from real world experience. In her current role, she serves as a lead RN within her hospital and is recognized for her leadership, teamwork, and commitment to high quality care.
Maria earned both her LVN and RN degrees from Hartnell College and continues to bring deep expertise, warmth, and professionalism to every patient interaction and every team she supports.
Maria De Avila aporta más de 38 años de experiencia en el área de la salud, incluyendo 19 años como enfermera titulada, brindando atención a pacientes en una amplia variedad de entornos clínicos. Su trayectoria incluye cuidados críticos en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, toma de decisiones en situaciones de alta presión en la sala de emergencias y atención integral a pie de cama en unidades médico quirúrgicas. También ha acompañado a familias durante el proceso de maternidad y el cuidado posparto, y cuenta con amplia experiencia atendiendo a personas mayores en entornos de hogares de ancianos, siempre con un enfoque firme y compasivo, y con un fuerte compromiso con la seguridad del paciente.
