BrightStar Care was proud to participate in the 2025 Veterans Expo on September 27, hosted by Senator Muth’s office. As part of our commitment to supporting those who have served, we set up a booth and engaged directly with veterans, their families, caregivers, and local community members.
A Mission of Service and Support
At BrightStar Care, our mission is deeply rooted in caring for people—especially those who have sacrificed so much. Being present at the Veterans Expo allowed us to showcase how our services—home care, skilled nursing, personal care, and specialized support for conditions such as PTSD, veteran‑related injuries, and chronic illness—can be of assistance to veterans who prefer to age in place with dignity and safety.
What Our Booth Offered
Our booth featured a friendly team of BrightStar Care professionals ready to answer questions and share resources. Attendees found informational brochures about:
- Home care services tailored to veterans
- Support for caregivers and respite services
- How BrightStar Care works with VA benefits, insurance, and community programs
Connecting With the Community
Participating in the Expo wasn’t just about visibility—it was about listening. We heard stories of transitioning from military to civilian life, of families seeking help for aging parents, and of veterans hoping to stay independent at home. Each conversation reaffirmed that the right care in the right setting makes a real difference.
We also networked with other veteran‑focused organizations, health providers, and nonprofit groups. The shared goal: forming partnerships that offer stronger support systems and streamlined pathways to care for veterans in our region.
Why It Matters
Many veterans face unique health or mobility challenges as they age. Accessing compassionate, high‑quality care at home can reduce hospital readmissions, support mental health, and improve overall quality of life. By being visible at events like the Veterans Expo,
BrightStar Care aims to raise awareness about how home care can be a bridge to health, comfort, and independence.
Looking Forward
This year’s Expo was a success, but it’s just a step. BrightStar Care looks forward to continuing outreach, forging new partnerships, and developing programs that directly benefit veterans and their families. If you met us at the Expo and want to follow up, or if you’re a veteran or caregiver seeking care solutions, we’d love to connect.
