I am a licensed Registered Nurse with clinical experience, complemented by my extensive background working in emergency medicine and as a licensed Paramedic. My combined expertise in prehospital care and critical care nursing allows me to provide comprehensive, high-quality care as the new Director of Nursing for BrightStar Care, as I am committed to ensuring high standards of patient care, supporting our nursing staff, and promoting efficient, compassionate, and compliant home health services.
What Experience Do You Bring To Brightstar Care?
I bring over 16 years of experience in emergency medicine, ICU, acute care, and prehospital settings as both a Registered Nurse and licensed Paramedic. This extensive clinical background has equipped me with strong critical thinking skills, rapid decision-making under pressure, and a deep understanding of patient care across the continuum. As I transition into the role of Director of Nursing in home health, I am committed to applying this experience to lead with clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care.
What Aspect Of Your Job Are You Most Passionate About?
I’m most passionate about helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life by keeping them safely in their homes for as long as possible. It’s incredibly rewarding to support their health while honoring their comfort and dignity.
