Brandy deserves a 5 star review. She helped me fix my catheter after it was put in wrong. She may have saved my life. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and good company. My thanks go out to her!

I live in Connecticut and come to Portland several times a year and stay for two months to be with my young grandchildren. My nurse Nathan makes space in his schedule for my weekly infusions. I consider him a friend. He is brilliant at gaining access! Over my 12 years of infusing, many nurses have difficulty with my veins. Nathan is a joy to spend time with. He is playful with my grandchildren. My 4 to 6 hour infusions pass by quickly and over the last three years all have gone smoothly without incident. He does my bloodwork once a month which gets picked up by Federal Express. We keep in touch by text so I can let him know when I will be in Portland. Anyone to have Nathan as your nurse would be most fortunate!

Our family found ourselves in a last minute bind and needed night care for my father with Alzheimers last minute. BrightStar staff came through for us in a big way. Nancy our caregiver was amazing and my father really connected with her. It was so nice to have peace of mind knowing my dad was well cared for.

Bright Star was there for me when I had to leave my disabled husband to attend a family reunion across the country. Sandy was the caregiver they sent, and she was excellent. Five stars!

I can’t recommend Bright Star more strongly. I had a minor surgery and needed home care for about 5 weeks. Michelle(my nurse) was outstanding. I don’t know that I could have gotten through it without her. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She was very consistent with scheduling, communication and always on time. Again, I went through an unexpected and difficult recovery and Michelle was amazing from day one. Bright Star staff was always available and very helpful with getting insurance stuff taken care of. Overall a great company and in a tough time a pleasure to deal with.

I was very pleased with my caregiver Emily Schuetz, she had an emergency surgery and still showed up to work to bring me to my appointment even though she wasn't feeling good. I was very impressed with her still showing up for me and the hard work and dedication is amazing!

Jean Bugbee My daughter Renee is 47 years old, working at 19 months old. She needs a lot of care. I have two delightful young ladies whom my daughter Renee just adores. Mackenzie Beal and Samantha Miller are wonderful. That have been here for more than a year, they are reliable and work hard to keep Renee happy and help me with the housework. Renee has been sick, and things have been scary , but she is always glad to see the girls and I have felt safe leaving her for a short time to get things done. I have confidence in both of them, and am very grateful.
