Portland Walk to End Alzheimer's 2020

September 25, 2020

This year the Walk to End Alzheimer's is everywhere in Portland.

Portland may seem different right now, but one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to helping end Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. This year, the walk will look different due to the Coronavirus, but the walk is moving forward in 2020 and will be everywhere in Richmond on Saturday, September 26!

Health and safety are a top priority, so this year's event won't be a large in-person gathering. Instead, you are invited to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Let's still all walk and fundraise for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

We encourage you to invite family, friends, and colleagues to walk with you. Plan to take a socially distanced walk in your neighborhood or community.

How to participate: Register a team. A team can consist of one person. Or join a team and plan on walking this Saturday, September 26, or any day convenient for you! Please take pictures of your team and your walk, and send them to the Alzheimer's Association, who will be posting photos to their social media channels.
