Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Wilmington and Brunswick County

BrightStar Care of Wilmington and Brunswick County is owned by NC natives, Ed and Gina Collins. Gina is a physician assistant with a background in cardiothoracic surgery and geriatrics. She earned both her BS and PA degrees from Wake Forest University.  Ed enjoyed a long career in corporate finance and project management with companies ranging from Fortune 100 to start-up. He earned his BA from UNC Charlotte and an MBA from Wake Forest University. With a passion to serve, we’d be happy to discuss your individual needs and tailor the right solution.

Gigi is a born and raised long island NY native. She relocated to North Carolina in February 2023 with her husband and two dogs, Schnitzel and Princess to be closer to her two adult children and her grandchildren. Gigi has been in the healthcare field for 21 years. She loves to help and serve her community. Gigi is a People person, and she loves to help them succeed.
