Brightstar made a very difficult, sudden situation, much more manageable. They were able to provide us with resources, no short notice, allowing us to remain more in our roles as family members, rather than caregivers; Phyllis and Shirley (and one other person who's name is escaping me at the moment) have all invested in our family, and truly seem to care. As we move from hospital to other settings, I plan on taking Brightstar with me.

I use this service for home infusion. The technicians are skilled, friendly, and very responsive. They never intrude and make me feel very comfortable during the process. The "real" value is convenience. I feel confident throughout the process.

Our experience at BrightStar has been great. Their professional staff have provided excellent care for my son, Tywan. They are very thoughtful and caring in the way they look after him. The nurses are wonderful and always make sure my son has everything he needs, including his medicine, clean diapers, and baths when needed. They truly do a great job caring for my son, and we are very grateful for them.

I first met Teresa when my mother was hospitalized at Norton Brownsboro in February. We realized she could not safely return to her independent living facility and were looking for caregivers. We opted instead to move her to memory care. I explained this to Teresa, and she was amazing, giving me tips and pointers, even though we weren’t hiring Brightstar caregivers. My mother then had a series of falls, in July. While in the hospital, we realized in memory care, she would need 24 hour caregivers. I texted Teresa on a Friday night, she was out of town at a wedding and still facilitated things so we could start caregivers the next day. The caregivers that Brightstar sent out to my mom, worked 12 hour shifts without complaint. They were kind, compassionate and patient with my mom, who is suffering from end stage Alzheimer’s. Recently , we moved my mother to skilled nursing, as she is actively dying. I would recommend Brightstar to anyone who needs help caring for a loved one at home, or at a facility. I am a registered nurse, and was very impressed with Teresa and all my mom’s caregivers. You are all truly angels on earth.
