Father we come together today to honor You and bring glory to Your kingdom.

We are thankful for Your presence here in the South Plains and seek to bring honor and glory to Your name. Today we humbly pray over our communities and Your people that reside here.

You have directed us, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace..” Father, we ask that You guide us to serve in our hometowns and that we use our gifts for Your glory.

We pray over the leaders of our communities that their actions and words reflect Your presence, that they will use the positions You have granted them to bring others to You Father. We pray that through their leadership we as a community will draw closer to You.

You have commanded us to love one another, and may that love each other overflow and continue to spread across the South Plains by your missionaries that You have placed in our businesses, schools and places of worship.

Father, we are thankful for our military and public servants both past and present. We pray for their protection and may they glorify Your name as they protect our rights and freedoms. We pray for their loved ones that they may find peace in You.

We pray that You will be a source of hope, strength, healing and comfort and we lift up those who need You most. Father, we ask that You use your servants to serve this community and be a lighted path to Your glory.

In Jesus’ name Amen!
