Virtual Workshop: Most Important Documents of Your Life in the Age of COVID

DATE: Thursday, January 14, 2020
TIME: 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Vaccines are on the way, but the coronavirus is still with us. In this critically key workshop, you will learn what papers you must have in order in case of any health crisis, how to prepare and organize them, and what to do – and what not to do – when an emergency strikes. Individual questions will be encouraged and addressed, and resources for further assistance will be provided.

About Our Facilitator:
Our speaker is Lucille H. Deutsch, CALA, CMC. Lucy is a certified geriatric care manager with LHD Eldercare Solutions and a member of the Steering Committee of the Caregivers Coalition of Morris County. She has been a caregiver to two generations of her own family and is passionate about advocating for the highest quality of life for the aging population and those who care for them.

Due to grant restrictions, in order to participate, you must be a caregiver, and either you or the person you are caring for must live in Morris County and/or:

  • 60+ years old or
  • caring for someone who is 60+ or
  • caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder or
  • 55+ years old and caring for a disabled adult between the ages of 19 and 59

You can register simply by replying to Stephanie Howland <Stephanie.Howland@UnitedWayNNJ.org> and letting her know for whom you care. She will then send a zoom registration link and confirmation to you.

This workshop is available to you thanks to the generosity of the Morris County Office on Aging, Disabilities, and Community Programming and the Morris County Freeholder Board.
