He is focused on strengthening franchisee success, expanding strategic healthcare partnerships, investing in innovation and technology, and building on BrightStar Care's long-standing reputation for clinical excellence and exceptional client experience.
Josh brings more than 20 years of experience helping franchise owners build stronger, more profitable businesses, developing high-performing teams, and leading franchise organizations through periods of significant growth and transformation. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for strengthening franchise systems, empowering franchisees, and creating meaningful community impact.
A passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and servant leadership, Josh believes deeply in the ability of business ownership to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and change family trees for generations. His leadership philosophy centers on developing great people, building scalable systems, and creating organizations that deliver exceptional outcomes for customers, franchisees, employees, and investors alike.
Prior to joining BrightStar Care, Josh served as Chief Operating Officer of Unleashed Brands, the world's largest youth enrichment franchise platform, where he oversaw franchise operations, franchise development, franchisee support and mergers and acquisitions across a portfolio of leading brands. As a member of the executive leadership team, he helped drive enterprise growth, acquisition integration and franchisee performance initiatives across a rapidly expanding multi-brand organization.
Earlier in his career, Josh served as Chief Growth Officer for Unleashed Brands, Chief Franchise Officer for Urban Air Adventure Park, and Partner and Chief Development Officer for Christian Brothers Automotive. For over more than two decades, he has led franchise development, operations, marketing, training, real estate and growth strategies that helped scale franchise systems and strengthen franchisee success.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Christian University and holds a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) distinction through the International Franchise Association. As an advocate for franchising, he serves as an advisor to several franchise organizations and is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry conferences focused on franchising, leadership, and growth.
Josh and his wife, Bethany, live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and are the proud parents of three daughters.
