BrightStar Care® is excited to announce that we have received the Enterprise Champion for Quality Award for the 13th year in a row. This demonstrates the commitment to excellence our caregivers and nurses demonstrate each day as they care for families across the United States.
Measuring the Quality of Care
The Joint Commission(Opens in a new window) — which is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare — designed the Enterprise Champion for Quality Award with franchisors in mind, offering them the ability to provide tangible evidence of their dedication to safety and excellence within their independently owned and operated agencies.
“It’s truly an honor to be the only home care brand that has received this award every single year since its inception,” said Andy Ray(Opens in a new window), CEO of BrightStar Care. “I’m proud of the dedication of our franchise teams, including the clinical leadership that each location’s Director of Nursing provides and the superior medical and non-medical care our nurses and caregivers deliver.”
Receiving the Enterprise Champion for Quality Award verifies that at least 95% of our accredited BrightStar Care agencies are in good standing with The Joint Commission. Earning the Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission means that a healthcare organization has completed a comprehensive on-site review and met the standards and requirements established by The Joint Commission.
