COVID-19 Update

March 13, 2020
BrightStar Care is taking a very active approach in preparation and an ongoing understanding of COVID-19. We are monitoring the CDC, WHO, as well as the state and local health departments for live and up-to-date guidance and the newest knowledge related to COVID-19.  BrightStar Care is adhering to the recommendations of the CDC to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. We have developed stringent protocols that are in full force and always under scrutiny to ensure we meet the highest standards.

BrightStar Care understands the heightened awareness around COVID-19 that is being implemented throughout the community. We are responding to this by being proactive with prevention and increasing our diligence of infection control. We are providing our staff with information and education to monitor for infection and deliver care that adheres to infection control and prevention as recommended by the CDC and WHO. We will monitor and screen to assess for potential illness in clients and caregivers.

It is currently unknown the volume of care that will impact the Baltimore County/City area. We are continuously preparing our staff in event that an increase of care is needed. The appropriate and available personal protective equipment will determine the level of support we can provide on an ongoing basis for COVID-19 patients in the home environment.

Do not hesitate to call us with your questions and concerns around this matter. We are here to support you.
