BrightStar Care of Austin is keeping our care staff safe and providing the PPE to help reduce the likelihood of disease transmission during this pandemic. Our office is following the CDC standards for how to care for patients and clients safely every day. PPE is provided to all caregivers and nurses, regardless of their client's symptoms. All our staff must wear a mask within 8 feet of any client at all times and follow infectious control protocols. Our employees receive a PPE kit complete with masks (KN95 & surgical), storage bag, gloves, hand sanitizers, safety glasses or face shield, and we are providing care packages of essentials like toilet paper, sugar, flour, and eggs, to our employees to help support them during the crisis.
