    Branch Manager
    Alexis Johnson, hailing from Sidney, Montana, is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in the hospital, nursing home, hospice, and healthcare sectors. With an impressive tenure at Brightstar Care of Austin since 2018, Alexis has played a pivotal role in the company's success, contributing significantly to client satisfaction, clinician support, and office team cohesion. Over her eight-year career in Home Health Care, Alexis has honed her skills and expertise, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering equal, high-quality care to all patients while cultivating a positive and productive work environment for fellow employees.

    With her extensive background starting in the field providing one-on-one care to patients, Alexis has firsthand experience of the difference between just running a business and providing excellent patient care. This realization prompted her transition from fieldwork to pursuing a degree in Health Care Management, driven by her commitment to prioritizing patient care and well-being above all else, knowing that business success will naturally follow.

  • Rose Wanjala

    Assistant Director of Nurses

    Rose Wanjala is our Assistant Director of Nursing who skillfully leads our team of experienced field clinicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to deliver high-quality services to our patients. She collaborates closely with physicians to ensure accuracy and excellence in patient care.

    She has a diverse educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the Accelerated Second-Degree Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Pre-Professional Health from Galveston College. Prior to nursing, she attained a Master of Public Health in Global Epidemiology as a distinguished William Foege Fellow at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Upper-Class Honors from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya.

    She led the nursing team at Pflugerville Care Center and also serves at Cornerstone Hospital Round Rock ICU, as well as working with med/surg units as needed. Rose is an RN and has worked for Med-Surg Neurology at Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock as well. She also served as a Patient Care Technician at Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

    In Galveston, Rose also worked as a Nursing Assistant at Meridian Retirement Community and served as a Therapeutic Assistant at the Transitional Learning Center. Rose has also collaborated with prestigious organizations such as Innovation for Poverty Action and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She remains committed to delivering high-quality patient care, promoting safety, and enhancing the overall well-being of individuals under her care.

    Client Care Manager
    Mikayla Kostelecky is a dynamic Client Care Manager, overseeing the Personal Assistance Services (PAS) department with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients. Skilled in managing all aspects of client needs and known for building strong relationships with clients and their families, she is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

    Previously, she served as a Unit Clerk at PAM Rehabilitation Hospital in Round Rock, where she demonstrated proficiency in providing administrative support to healthcare units. She also worked as a Nurse Delegate at JEA Senior Living, providing residents with high-quality care and promoting their well-being in a senior living setting.

    Furthermore, Mikayla is a compassionate and dedicated caregiver with experience providing support to elderly and disabled individuals. Among other skills, she is proficient in assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and is committed to promoting their well-being and independence through compassionate care and support.

    HR Recruiter

    Erin Loftin is a dedicated HR Assistant and Recruiter proficient in effectively maintaining all HR systems, including ensuring information accuracy and compliance with healthcare policies and HIPAA regulations. Erin has proven herself committed to supporting employees to foster a positive work environment to the benefit of our patients. She is skilled in all aspects of the recruitment process, endeavoring to recruit the best healthcare talent available in the home healthcare industry so our patients receive the quality care they deserve.

    She is an engaged volunteer with diverse experience contributing to environmental and community organizations ranging from Tree Co in Orange County, California, to the Irvine Nature Center in Irvine, California, to REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship in Fallbrook, California, where she demonstrated a true commitment to animal welfare and therapeutic support.
