My husband came home from a care center with a tender, raw area around a new ileostomy he had gotten. We hadn't learned properly how to change his ileostomy bag and it was leaking when he came home within hours. I was able to contact Bright Star and they got back to me in under 12 hours and got a nurse out to us right away to help. I can't thank them enough. We learned more from this nurse who came to visit us then half a dozen nurses that have been helping with the ileostomy since this happened. Thank you

Very good care and attention to detail. My concern has been about reactions to the medication due to flow rate. Mary was very knowledgeable in that area as well.

BrightStar is my home infusion provider for my Actemra (IL-6 inhibitor) infusions. I am severely immunocompromised and use a power wheelchair and a ventilator 24/7, so it is both difficult & dangerous to do in-hospital infusions. Having home infusions with BrightStar makes a world of difference, and my infusion nurse Mary is absolutely wonderful--she really goes above and beyond!! Mary is that amazing combination of kind and competent, and on top of her patient care skills, she is wonderful and sweet with my dog (who adores her). [I'm actually apprehensive about changing meds or pharmacies just in case it interferes with/disrupts having BrightStar being my infusion provider!] I very highly recommend BrightStar for home infusion services.

BrightStar arranged care for my husband in extremely difficult circumstances, and handled it all with respect, kindness, care and great attention to details, Nurses Christy and Maigen could not have been helpful with both my husband and me and the kids. I would not hesitate to use their services again if circumstances warrant. I am grateful to the whole BrightStar team.

I have been using BrightStar Care to help with my mother, who is in the moderate stages of Alzheimers, for about 1.5 years now. They have been extremely responsive and helpful. They listen to my concerns, have gone the extra mile when my mother has been unwell, caught a few medical things that would have slipped by had they not been paying attention, and have been extremely available and helpful for all things that have arisen. Their presence has allowed my mom to stay in her current living situation where she is happy and has a social life, allowing us to delay putting her into memory care until she absolutely needs it (something she does not want). I highly recommend.
