    My life dream of helping people in need was realized with the formation of BrightsStar Care of Bellingham/Mt. Vernon in July of 2021. I’ve enjoyed 39-years of commercial, industrial and institutional success and am honored to lead our talented home care team as CEO/Owner. I recognize the importance of providing safe and effective care as a result of my long career and family experiences with many hospitals and nursing facilities. I’m a chemist and graduate of Northwest University, with a degree in Business Management. I really believe the BrightStar Care model helps people realize a higher quality of life with proactive solutions that maintain their dignity and independence within their own homes. I’m Happily married with 6 children and reside in Bellingham, WA. In my spare time, I love to sportfish and hike with my wife, kids and our loyal hunting dogs - Marco and Polo.

    Branch Manager
    I joined BrightStar Care in July of 2021 as the Branch Manager. I grew up in Northern California. After graduation I proudly served our country in the US Army for 4 years. My background is in Hospitality Management focusing on guest relations and employee retention, while running day to day operations. I joined BrightStar Care to help serve our community and provide care that everyone deserves. I live in Stanwood with my wife, our 2 boys, and 2 dogs.  When I'm not busy with BrightStar Care, I enjoy adventuring with my family around Washington and taking in the beauty around us.

    Director of Nursing
    I have been a Licensed Nurse since 2002. I began my career in Long Term Care at Christian health Care Center, and then moved into the hospital setting. I have spent the most part of the last 13 years working as an Emergency/Trauma/Sepsis RN at St Joeseph Medical Center and Providence Regional Medical Center Everrett. I enjoy playing music and singing with my 2 children, hiking the PNW with my 2 Huskies and 2 mini dachshunds, attending music festivals/concerts, traveling and HOCKEY.

    Community Relations Manager
    I joined BrightStar Care in November of 2021 as the Sales Manager. Prior to BrightStar Care I was the Sales Director for Pegasus Senior Living. During my tenure at Pegasus, I earned top sales for the year. I helped grow their community from 67% occupancy to 95%. I graduated from Ferndale High School and currently live in Bellingham with my husband, our youngest of two children, 6 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 fish. When I’m not busy with BrightStar Care, I also take pride in being a Mary Kay Sales Director. I have been running my Mary Kay business for 10 years. I enjoy time with Family and friends and love crafting and painting.
