BrightStar Care's Jennifer Lewis was an amazing resource for dealing with my 91-year-old father with dementia. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She connected me with all the right people to find the best possible living situation to meet our needs. I am so thankful that our paths crossed. She is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

I engaged Bright Star to care for a member of my family for several weeks, four days a week. All my interactions with staff were positive--Jennifer, Michelle, Aliesha, Darla and Constance were all very professional and accommodating, a pleasure to deal with. As caregiver, Constance Love could not have a more apt name! She showed not only skill and proficiency but also sincere compassion for my family member and our entire family.

Joe was the MOST AMAZING physical therapist ever. He was professional, caring, empathetic, challenging, a cheerleader, an educator, and eventually a friend! I hope he is available when I have my other knee replacement!!! I HIGHLY recommend him!!

I wanted to not only praise and commend Daphne for how awesome she was being my visiting home Nurse for the past 8 weeks, but to let her know she is now officially our adopted Texas Daughter!! We will always remember how great she was on each visit and be thankful for everything she did for us. Her people skills along with her love of our dog will never be forgotten! My first experience with at home Physical Therapy was with Joe and I am so thankful that it was! Joe was extremely great ad was able to let me get better and stronger in just 8 short weeks. He went above and beyond what I expected. He made me feel like I was his main focus each time and went out of his way to make our dog feel the same. I had Daphne as a nurse. She was very professional and a great nurse. She interacted great with my two little girls and my animals and my wife. She was a definite blessing to have taking care of my needs.

Once my sister's and I decided mom needed additional care, Brightstar has been a lifesaver. Jennifer explained the services and after meeting mom, placed the perfect caregiver for mom, Kristin. She has been the biggest help for mom and now mom keeps a "to do list" for Kristin when she comes. She has mom walking, going to the exercise room, going to socialize with other residents and watches over her so she doesn't fall. Kristin "aides" mom , but doesn't make her feel helpless, just what she needed.

Jackye was phenomenal. She provided great service and went above and beyond in my wound care. Highly recommended.

BrightStar has cared for my mom for over two years, and has done a stellar job of building a team of caregivers who are compatible with her personality and committed to meeting her needs. All four of them have found a place in our hearts and become part of the family. Tameka is a dynamo who never stops looking for more things she can do around the house, far beyond her job description or our expectations. Sam is a ray of sunshine who can coax a smile out of Mom even on her most “down” days. Angela is dedicated and frequently stays late or comes early to help her day shift counterparts with two-person tasks, such as when they decided to rearrange furniture after my dad passed away, to make Mom’s room more spacious and appealing. Hannah is bright and upbeat, and even though she jokes that she doesn’t know how to boil water, she willingly asks for and follows Mom’s cooking instructions so she can create meals that Mom enjoys eating. I am so thankful to have found this agency!

BrightStar Care of Bryan/College provides excellent care and service. From the initial conversations with Jennifer, the owner, and staff members Courtney and Alisha, it was clear that the people were focused on providing the care that was needed for my mother still living at home at 91 years of age. As we moved through the process of finding the best caregivers they showed flexibility and compassion. We now have two wonderful caregivers in Alyssa and Jada. They are great at managing the relationships, the work and the care of our mother. They are highly recommended by our family. Thank you to all at BrightStar!
