To become an in-home caregiver with BrightStar Care of Bryan / College Station, you can apply through our online careers form.  

Non-medical caregivers are not required to have a license; however, certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs) are required to have state-approved certification and training in order to provide personal care assistance. 

To work with our Brazos Valley care team, you’ll also need to have CPR certification and pass a background check, drug screen, and tuberculosis (TB) test.

Yes, our Brazos Valley care team is overseen by our Director of Nursing, a registered nurse (RN), who supervises all home care plans and services. This nurse-led care approach supports our caregiving, nursing, and therapy professionals with clinical guidance and immediate feedback on client conditions.
The number of clients you care for while working with our Bryan / College Station home care agency depends on the needs of our clients, as well as your skills and availability. Many of our caregivers, nurses, and therapists support one or more clients. We try to set schedules that create consistency for our clients, while also giving our care teams enough time to build meaningful relationships with the clients they support.
