At BrightStar Care S. Charlotte, community is at the heart of everything we do. On Monday, October 6, 2025, our Business Development Manager, Ashley F., had the privilege of attending the Shepard Center of Charlotte’s Resource Fair at St. John Baptist Church. BrightStar Care was honored to be both a sponsor and an active participant in this impactful event, which brought together healthcare providers, local organizations, and community members seeking resources and guidance.

Supporting the Community in a Time of Change

The healthcare system is constantly evolving, and families often find themselves overwhelmed when trying to access the right care and resources. That’s why events like the Shepard Center’s Resource Fair are so valuable. They provide a space where people can connect face-to-face with organizations dedicated to their wellbeing.

By sponsoring and attending, BrightStar Care S. Charlotte reaffirmed its mission: to not only deliver exceptional in-home care services but also to be a trustworthy resource for families navigating healthcare options. Ashley represented our team with compassion and dedication, answering questions and offering guidance to community members who are seeking support.

Nearly 15 Years of Service in Charlotte

BrightStar Care S. Charlotte has been part of this community for almost 15 years. Over that time, we have built a reputation for providing high-quality, personalized care for individuals and families. From companion care and personal care to skilled care services (nursing/therapy services), our team strives to meet the diverse needs of our clients while treating them with dignity, respect, and empathy.

Our longevity and proven record of service are a testament to the trust the community places in us. We understand that choosing a home care provider in Charlotte is an important decision, and we take pride in being recognized as a dependable partner for so many families across Charlotte.

Why Events Like This Matter

Being part of community events allows us to extend our reach beyond the homes we serve. It gives us the opportunity to listen, learn, and share valuable information that families can use to make informed choices. At the Resource Fair, attendees discovered not only BrightStar Care’s services but also the support available through the Shepard Center of Charlotte and other community-focused organizations.

These connections help bridge gaps and ensure that families don’t feel alone in their journey. At BrightStar Care S. Charlotte, we believe in walking alongside the people we serve—whether it’s in their living room or at a local church event.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We are deeply grateful to the Shepard Center of Charlotte for hosting such a meaningful event and for inviting BrightStar Care S. Charlotte to participate. Their dedication to providing resources and building community support is inspiring, and we are proud to stand alongside them in serving the Charlotte community.

As we continue our work in Charlotte, BrightStar Care S. Charlotte remains committed to more than just care delivery—we are committed to being a community partner. Events like the Shepard Center’s Resource Fair remind us that giving back and showing up are just as important as the care we provide day to day.
