I have worked with brightstar care for almost one year now and have only fabulous things to share about the company. The office staff focuses on matching field staff with the right client so the best compassionate care is given along with meeting the clients specific needs. The field staff is always able to share Ideas and is recognized daily for work well done and for participating in office news. Ongoing education is also provided. Work hours are flexible, there is always work available for all different shifts. The schedulers are sensitive to personal needs, ie: personal days or time off. Another benefit to the client is that our office staff makes routine home visit to assure client/family & caregivers needs are met. I must give a shout out to Eileen D. who makes these home visits. Having shared this I highly recommend working for and hiring care from bright star care at whatever level of care is needed for a loved one. 5 stars!!

Cherrlyn Diego, an employee of BrightStar Care, was a wonderful caregiver for my mother for a period of about 9 months before my mother passed away. She was very dedicated to and loved her job. My mother had a rare brain disorder and was unable to speak and needed assistance with daily routine tasks. Cherrlyn was so patient with her and took the time to meet all her needs. She fed her, made sure she took all of her medications, bathed her, and was constantly by her side. She was always attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my Mom got everything she needed. She is also a wonderful cook. In her spare time she was always cleaning something, she kept my Mom’s house immaculate. I don’t think a caregiver could be any more focused or attentive than Cherrlyn. God really blessed my Mom with an amazing caregiver. Cherrlyn was by her side even when my Mom took her last breath. My family and I are at peace knowing that our Mom got the best care she could get the last several months of her life.

There are several great caregivers I should (and will) praise, but Jonathan Lazo has been a wonderful source of support for my father, who has Alzheimer’s. Being an overnight caregiver is tough, especially because of the odd hours. Despite this, Jonathan is always alert and ready to assist my father with anything throughout the night. I never have to worry about my dad getting lost or hurt in the middle of the night because Jonathan jumps into action as soon as my dad wakes up (which can be often throughout the night). Jonathan is also very professional, kind, and communicative with me. It takes a lot to earn my trust when it comes to caring for my dad, and Jonathan has it.

Bright Star served my brother for well over a year before it became necessary for him to enter a memory care center. I was impressed by and thankful for their 24/7availability, their patience and persistence in trying to find the right caregiver match, and their never failing kindness and warmth in dealing with me. Whoever I called from wonderful, patient Heather in scheduling, to billing, to Barbara West, Director, I was always greeted with a friendly voice and "let's get this done" attitude. Special thanks go out to Caregiver Extraordinaire, Stephanie Hernandez, aka Superwoman. Stephanie hung in there through some very challenging times. She always sought to do the best for my brother and me no matter what the circumstances. And she did it with love and service in her heart. And in the last month Barbara West has helped to secure a new dog, Jack the Beagle, for Silverado Thousand Oaks who will be cared for by my brother who loves dogs! That is above and beyond service!

Joy is a very kind and compassionate caregiver. She always treated my husband with respect and listened to him when he needed something and was very attentive to his needs. She was wonderful to my family and I came to rely on her a lot. I would like to see her get a reward for the special attention she gave to us. She was wonderful and she brought "joy" to us during a stressful time in our lives.

I absolutely love working for BrightStar Care. I've been there for almost 10 months now and it's been great!! The company morale is amazing, I love all my coworkers and office staff! Everyone is so supportive and truly work as a team. Our company truly cares about our patients and clients, and always strives for excellence in quality care which is so important to me as a nurse. This job has been such a blessing. I'm a single mom to a toddler and working at BrightStar has given me the flexibility and freedom to make my own schedule. And working as a home health nurse I get to have patients that I see on a regular basis in which I'm able to build relationships with them and their families which I love. I truly love my job and I owe it all BrightStar care and the amazing team I get to collaborate with. Highly recommend for the care of your loved ones and for employment! 😊
