This review is specifically for my father’s caregiver, Charistine. My father has dementia, and Charistine takes care of him like he’s her family too. He’s put on a few needed pounds due to Charistine’s cooking, and he enjoys having her around. She always makes him laugh and listens to her because he knows she adores and respects him.

If you are the son or daughter of an aging parent/parents and wish you could be in two places at once, Brightstar may be the answer you’ve been looking for. I was in a bind and needed help with my mother who has Parkinson’s and Glaucoma. Brightstar sent Irene the very next day, which was a Monday. She was at her side for four days and I couldn’t have been more pleased with her care. Irene learned my mother’s routine quickly which assured me that I could move on with the rest of my day. In the future, if I need care assistance for either of my parents, I will be calling Brightstar again. Private care is expensive, but Brightstar is worth it.

A Homecare scheduling agency that actually schedules! Brightstar has great systems in place for finding nurses and simple smartphone apps for clocking in and out. The office staff is competent, friendly and dedicated to getting the scheduling done! I’d like to give special mention to my caregiver Claudia and my nurse Clemencia. Both are reliable, do a great job and are pleasant to be around. I’d also like to thank the scheduler Terry for being so dedicated to getting scheduling done. A couple weeks later…I’d just like to thank Brightstar for being so great at getting the Holidays scheduled. I know that can be challenging. I enjoyed spending Thanksgiving with Jeanette. I’d also like to thank Brightstar for sending Littsy and Melody. All three of these nurses are very personable and competent.

Bright Star Care is pretty great to work for accept issues with website sometimes and I wish there was training we can do over the computer cause it's hard for me to go to any of the training cause of the hours I work 9am to 5pm. Like let there be zoom sessions or something during those training so all can attend if want to. Thank you :)

I hired Brightstar to help with my dad because I was having health concerns of my own. They sent Geraldine Dohs and I never wanted her to leave! She’s so good with my 95 year old dad. She’s easy and fun to talk to, she takes care of the house without being asked. Geri organized the kitchen, and we are in the process of moving so she helped organize boxes in the garage that I didn’t even ask her to do! The wood floors have never been so clean! She cooks great meals for my dad, he eats every bite. She organized his medication for the week when I wasn’t feeling well enough to do it.
