I've always felt drawn to caring for others. Being able to offer comfort and support was what truly inspired me to take on this role.
WHAT ASPECT OF YOUR JOB ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?
I love knowing that I can make someone’s day a little easier. Just being there and making a positive difference means everything to me.
HOW ARE YOU MAKING THINGS MORE POSSIBILE FOR YOUR BRIGHTSTAR CARE CLIENTS?
I take the time to learn what matters most to my clients—their preferences, routines, even the little things they enjoy. That personal connection really helps them feel understood and cared for.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHER CAREGIVERS?
Don’t be afraid to reach out. We’re all in this together, and there’s always someone willing to lend a hand or share advice.
TELL US YOUR FAVORITE CAREGIVING MOMENT OR STORY:
I work overnight shifts, and sometimes my client has trouble sleeping. Some of my favorite memories are from those quiet nights—we'll stay up late chatting or watching movies together. It’s in those moments that real bonds form.
HOW DO YOU RE-ENERGIZE?
I’m big on self-care! Whether it’s enjoying a healthy meal or heading out on a peaceful hike, I make sure to take time to recharge so I can show up fully for my clients.
