At BrightStar Care of Fort Wayne, owned by Steve & Stephanie Zishka, our home care agency provides quality home care, caregivers, and medical staffing solutions to families and businesses in the Allen County area. We offer compassionate care, peace of mind and exceptional service — any time, any place. We believe that northeastern Indiana is in need of a higher quality of home healthcare, so we set out to do something about it. It seems we all know someone who is experiencing the difficulty of dealing with an aging parent or a sick family member. We have personally experienced the difficulty of choosing a local home healthcare agency in a time of need, only to find an inconsistent quality of care and a lack of personal contact once services had started. We have also experienced firsthand the heartbreak associated with placing a loved one in a nursing facility. No one wants to move from home to receive assistance, and studies show that people actually do better in their own comfortable and familiar surroundings. Home services are also less expensive than assisted living or nursing facilities. As a result of these personal experiences, we have committed ourselves to making a difference in our community.
