Staying Active in Ft Myers and Naples

January 28, 2024
There is so much to do in our area of Ft. Myers and Naples Florida. Sometimes, our elderly loved ones perceive that their age precludes them from many of the local happenings - simply because of their age. Smart aging does mean making smart choices for daily activities and outings so that your loved one stays healthy and well, but participating in events and happenings that are relevant for seniors serves the same purpose.

What is important, is to ensure your loved one is properly prepared for the day’s outing and events in terms of how they dress and any precautions they’ll need to take for health or mobility reasons. Other than that, staying active and enjoying local events is important for both mental and physical well-being.

Here are some senior-friendly things to do in our area:

Visiting different times throughout the year offers a glimpse of how the slough changes with the seasons.
