  • James Muench

    Owner

    James is the proud owner of BrightStar Care of Grapevine, Southlake and Keller, where he empowers each and every team member to provide the highest quality-of-care possible. In his role, he oversees and supports the team in all aspects of the day-to-day operations while educating the local community about home health services and insurance benefits. James has a passion to serve and is an integral part of the local healthcare and senior community. 

    In his free time, James enjoys fishing, golfing and hiking. His passion to serve also extends to his country - James is currently an Officer for the United States Navy Reserve based in Fort Worth. He lives in Flower Mound with his wife and co-owner Helen, their daughter and dog.

  • Carolyn Edwards

    Director of Nursing

    Carolyn is a trained RN with over 40 years of experience and serves as our Director of Nursing. She is responsible for quality of care, managing nurses and caregiver staff for our team so that they can deliver the highest quality of care to our community. She personally oversees the Plan of Care development to ensure every patient receives exactly the type of services they need. 

    Carolyn enjoys travel, cruising, gardening and lives with husband Lee in Flower Mound. She has 1 son Joshua,1 stepdaughter Meredith (Richard), and 3 grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth and Christian.

  • Rhonda Bedrick

    Our Community Liaison

    Rhonda’s life is dedicated to one goal – to bring joy. She lives by this mantra each and every day and spreads joy, love, and laughter in our local community. As our Community Liaison, she is your first contact when considering home care for a loved one. With over 40 years of experience, Rhonda visits with and advises families to ensure your and your loved one’s needs are met. She is a steadfast member of various organizations, including the local senior center and the Flower Mound Quirky Crew, and you may encounter her at one of the many events that she organizes and manages for the community.

    Rhonda lives in Newark with her husband Tommy, has three beautiful children, grandchildren, and her very first great-grandchild.

    Clinical Operations Manager

    Jodi, LVN serves as the Clinical Operations Manager at our company, overseeing the intake process, managing authorizations, and fostering relationships with case managers. Her role is essential in ensuring our field team operates smoothly and efficiently, serving as a pivotal point of contact within the office. With a deep commitment to excellence, she takes pride in enhancing our service delivery and streamlining operations to better serve our clients.

    Outside of work, she is passionate about hiking and staying active, which keep her energized and focused. She and her husband cherish cheering on their three daughters in their various activities and are proud residents of Denton, TX, where they have built their home and life for the past 21 years. She is also actively involved in her local church, contributing to the community and finding great fulfillment in helping others.

    Operations Manager

    Bert is a dedicated healthcare professional and father of three who enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending quality time with his family. As an active member of his church, he values community, service, and supporting others. With a passion for teamwork and helping people, he brings energy and compassion to everything he does. As the Operations Manager, he ensures patients receive high-quality care by overseeing daily operations, coordinating care teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. He focuses on clear communication, efficient scheduling, and supporting team members so they can provide the best possible care.

    Our Client Care Coordinator

    As the Client Care Coordinator, Samantha is deeply committed to supporting clients through compassionate communication, attentive service, and a genuine dedication to quality care. She strives to ensure that every individual feels heard, respected, and confident throughout their healthcare journey.

    Samantha is currently pursuing her Master’s in Health Services Administration, where she continues to strengthen her understanding of healthcare operations, patient advocacy, and service excellence. She brings this knowledge into her role each day, helping to create a seamless, positive experience for every client and their family.

    Outside of work, Samantha enjoys staying active, exploring new activities, and spending meaningful time with friends and loved ones. Her caring nature and commitment to continuous growth reflect her belief that great healthcare begins with genuine human connection.
