To work as a non-medical caregiver with BrightStar Care of Hilton Head, you do not need a formal state license. However, caregivers like certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs) may be required to complete additional state-approved training. 

Additionally, our Hilton Head home care agency requires a background check, a tuberculosis (TB) test, and CPR certification for all caregivers on our team.

Yes, we have RN oversight for our care team in the Hilton Head, SC area. Our Director of Nursing, a registered nurse (RN), supervises all home care plans and offers clinical guidance for our team. This nurse-led care model also provides caregivers and nurses with real-time support and change-in-condition monitoring.
