Nurses are a special breed. At some point in their life, they have decided to give care to individuals in their time of need. They go through intense education to attain and certify that they have learned the required scientific and medical knowledge, along with developing their compassionate and patient bedside manners. In hospitals, they are the front-line warriors that defend and heal others. They observe all and actively gain more experience without ever asking for recognition. In home health care settings, they assess medical situations, work with physicians on patient care plans, and administer all necessary procedures.
Our Brightstar Care nurses are amazing. I have observed and worked alongside my fellow coworkers with respect. I have personally had the opportunity to witness the hard work that Kim, Karen, and Jenn do every day. So, a special shoutout to these ladies. Kim is Director of Nursing, managing and juggling administrative, managerial, and nursing duties. She always maintains professionalism and kindness. Karen and Jenn are both so compassionate. They go beyond patient care when they return to the office. They always have fresh, new ideas and insightful thoughts on how to grow the business. These three ladies go way beyond the call of duty. We also have other RNs and LPNs on staff that do a wonderful job with patient care. This is evident in the positive, warm feedback we get from our clients. Nurses are our caregivers when we need it the most. They are our friends when we need it the most. They are our guides when we need it the most. So hats off to all of you.
