My husband’s aide from Bright star of Clinton, NJ Jacqueline H. has provided excellent caregiving and personal care to my husband. She is highly professional, effective and efficient and has great communication skills and takes great care of my husband. She also does light household chores and laundry and at times helps me get my husband to doctor appointments. She has been invaluable to us in my husband’s disability and I can’t praise her enough and also the Bright Star agency for providing such excellent aides. And Jackie Haag was my aide also in the winter and spring of 2026 and I she gave me excellent care. I can’t speak enough about what a good worker she is. She is very efficient and thorough and does good work and took good care of me. She helped me shower and she also did household tasks that I needed done in a very effective way. And when I needed it she organized household tasks that I needed done like organizing my kitchen and cleaning my refrigerator beside usual tasks such as laundry and vacumn and swiftering floors. She even watered my plants. She is an excellent caregiver, very skilled and very professional and has a caring and professional manner and personality. I highly recommend Jackie H. and her agency Bright Star of Clinton NJ who she works for. I give Jackie an A plus and Bright Star an A plus for providing an excellent aides.

Our experience with Brightstar has been positive since Jeanna was assigned to our case. She’s trustworthy, caring and warm. We know my mom is in good hands when Jeanna is at our home. The right caregiver makes all the difference!

I have been using a bright Star home care aide for nearly a month. I have my aide for three days a week from nine o’clock until noon each day. She prepares a full breakfast for me.Then she ensures I take my meds. Next a monitored shower or a sponge bath. She then supervises my exercise followed by preparing a full lunch and clean up. Then it’s time to leave for her next appointment. It adds up to a morning of great care.

I had two weeks from the time my mother in law was discharged from HMC to when we decided that she would move in with me permanently. I needed assistance, especially with AM care and morning ADLs due to my limitations. I called Hunterdon Visiting Nurses, whom my mom has loved in the past, but they provide only a 3 to 4 hours a week between the disciplines (SW, PT, OT, RN). I needed more specialized care, consistently for about 4 weeks. They referred me to Bright Star, located in Clinton. Intake began with Tara from Brightstar coming to the Hunterdon Care Center Rehab to meet both my mom and myself, she reviewed what Brightstar provided and got releases and authorizations signed. From there, a few days later Mom was assigned a wonderful aide, Patrina. Mom was discharged on a Thursday, and by that following Monday she was being taken care of by Patrina. Patrina was so personable, went right to work and made mom feel safe and in good hands. Patrina's experience and knowledge was evident in the way she provided safe and thoughtful care. As mom became more mobile, Patrina took the initiative to do mom's PT exercises every morning with her, which made PT very happy and it showed in mom's increasing strength and stamina. We are ending our 4 weeks with Patrina and Brightstar tomorrow morning. We cant thank Patrina enough for her wonderful care and highly recommend Brightstar.

My dad had some medical issues last year that kept him in the hospital for several months. His life totally changed - he now uses a walker and cannot leave his apartment unassisted. I manage his care from out of state, and I cannot express what a relief it was to get BrightStar on board. Tara and Ayanna were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our questions. As my dad’s mobility improves, we are primarily using BrightStar for transport to medical appointments. I trust them to take good care of my dad and keep me posted as needed. Had a brief but amazingly positive set of visits with Jeanna. She was proactive, patient, and so caring with my friend. If we didn’t need to move her into assisted living then we would have done everything to keep Jeanna working with her! The entire process was supportive and kind from the first phone call through scheduling and billing. What a find to have locally. Thanks to the whole team!

Tara from Brightstar was wonderful, with helping us set up times for help with our mom. Unfortunately we did not use them, our mom passed away.
