She has been a physical therapist for over 10 years. As a DPT with a specialty in Orthopedics, she has worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics and home settings. Her time working as a home health PT ignited a passion in her. She was thrilled by the difference wholistic home care can make in the lives of patients and their families. She started BrightStar Care of Hunterdon to be at the forefront of delivering value and enhanced quality of life to patients while reducing the onus of caring from their loved ones.

Dr. Emejulu was born and raised in Southern California but now resides in Hunterdon County with her husband and daughters.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dining out, and spending time with family and friends.

My passion is working in direct care with individuals with many needs. I have 10+ years experience in the home health field. Some of my background includes individuals with intellectual disabilities, geriatric care, and even childcare. I have been working for Brightstar Care as an administrator since 2022. In May of 2023 I graduated from Warren County Community College with an associates in science and business administration. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in outdoor activities.

Ayanna Paige BSN, RN, is a dedicated nursing leader with over eight years of diverse clinical experience spanning critical care, pediatric specialty care, and home health management. She currently serves as a Director of Nursing, where she oversees clinical operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff development to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Throughout her career, Ayanna has been recognized for her calm leadership, strong organizational skills, and commitment to mentoring nurses. Her background in ICU and triage coordination has shaped her ability to manage complex cases, maintain compliance, and foster collaborative, high-performing teams. Ayanna is passionate about promoting excellence in nursing practice, continuous learning, and compassionate care for patients and families at every stage of life.

My name is Danielle Smith and I am the client care manager. I have always enjoyed doing work that made me feel like I was making a difference in someone's life. I grew up in Paterson, NJ and this is where my passion started. In highschool I created a volunteering club where we joined with Americorps and went to elementary schools providing after school tutoring and homework help. I have worked in healthcare for 10+ years and started out doing in-home care. I graduated from Hohokus school of business and medical science where I obtained my certification in Business administration with computerized accounting. I truly enjoy working at Brightstar as I am able to build relationships with the clients as well as the staff. I like to try to see things from their view and provide them with the compassion and care I would like to be provided with. In my free time I like traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Tara brings over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing to her role as Sales and Marketing Manager at BrightStar Care. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in building relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and creating solutions that meet clients’ needs all of which she now uses to help families find compassionate, reliable in-home care.

As a proud local resident, Tara understands the importance of community and personalized support. She loves making a difference in people’s lives by connecting families with the care and comfort their loved ones deserve.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her two children, going to the beach in the summer, and staying busy with family activities and local events. Her positive energy, professional expertise, and genuine care for others shine through in everything she does both personally and professionally.

Lisa has worked in healthcare for over a decade in a variety of roles from bench research, to marketing research to sales.  Through it all, she has utilized her natural talents as a caring individual with a natural concern for the well-being of the people around her.  Working at Brightstar Care Hamilton/Robbinsville has given her the opportunity to interact with senior citizens in hospitals and social settings locally where she addresses their inquiries about the care we offer and builds a path toward getting their care needs met.  Much of her work focuses on nurturing relationships with clients and referral partners and ensuring that we are there for them when the need for service arises.

She is a local resident of the Mercer County area and appreciates the warmth of its people and the hard work ethic that is so pervasive in this region.

Outside of Brightstar Care, Lisa enjoys quality time with friends and family in addition to hobbies like gardening  and cooking new recipes.
