We have finally fallen into a great flow with BrightStar. We have two caregivers that are a terrific match for my dad. I’d like to mention in particular, Claudia, who has become a very good friend and companion for my 96 yo father. She was with us when my mother was alive and was there at her passing. She has taken a huge mental load off of me personally. It feels as if she is part of the family. She pays close attention to detail and knows his medical history and what he likes to watch on TV and how he likes his bagel. She can call him out when he’s being stubborn and they laugh a lot together. Yep, she’s a keeper.

My father has been using BrightStar Care for a year after being recommended by a short-term caregiver who was a former employee. We've been very happy with the company in general, his caregiver (Sarai), and nurse (Kirsten). They have been very accommodating to his needs and communicative. I interviewed other companies but felt BrightStar was the most flexible and accommodating. They took the time to understand my father's needs and tailored a care plan to meet them. When he was discharged from a recent hospitalization, Sarai took him home and Kirsten came by to ensure he was well cared for and able to follow the complicated discharge instructions. My father doesn't like calling on friends for help so BrightStar Care has been invaluable in helping him maintain his independence. Since I live over a thousand miles away I sleep better at night knowing he is well cared for.

To Jessica C., Delores R., Grace O., and Sara I, thank you for all that you do. You provide far more than just assisting with his daily needs. You bring companionship, encouragement, laughter, and warmth into his life. The small acts of kindness you show may seem routine to you, but they mean the world to those of us who love him.
As his daughter, it is difficult living so far away and I truly wish I were closer in order that I may visit regularly and check on him, but I feel relieved knowing he is receiving such gentle, compassionate care from these 4- wonderful women with BrightStar and I know he appreciates their care as well.

Outstanding service from start to finish. I first spoke to a representative on the phone. She was courteous and understood my needs. The next morning a nurse name Natalee Salinas came to our house. She was here on time and was very professional and knowledgable. A few hours later that day our first caregiver, June Rios, arrived. June was the epitome of professionalism. My mom and I had been very sick and there was a lot to do. I let her know what needed to be done and without question she went right to work and accomplished every task needed. Afterward she spent a few hours with my mom - showing her the loving care that she needed. June is one of the finest caregivers I have encountered in the last six years.
Over the following three days we had two other caregivers Gelacia and Rosa - both displayed a professional and caring attitude and did an outstanding job. They both showed my mom the love, patience, and compassion she requires to make it through the day.
I am more than satisfied with all three caregivers - I give them each a 5-Star rating. I will call Bright Star again when I need help with my mom.

Kirsten, Eva, and Karen were absolutely incredible with my mom. After having a caregiving agency cancel on us an hour before we were leaving for a trip, I was naturally wary of engaging an agency again. From start to finish, BrightStar was amazing. My mom is 94, bedbound, and total care. They were so patient, so caring, so attentive. When we got home, my mom was clean, happy, and relaxed. I can’t tell you how much my husband and I appreciated the time away for respite. ❤️
Brighstar Care is an excellent provider for your home care giver needs. I’d like to recognize Arcelia and Viridiana, the 2 exceptional caregivers assigned to our family member. Arcelia had been with us since October and we are very grateful for the excellent care that she provides each day. Viridiana just started providing care in the past couple of weeks but she already demonstrated excellent performance in a very short period of time. They are both caring and compassionate individuals and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better than them.
