FACE TO FACE - Why we interview our caregiver applicants in PERSON

While many employers are going to Zoom interviews for applicants, we are going the other way. We meet every applicant in person. Caregiving in the home is too personal to do Zoom interviews before putting our employees in your home. We want to provide a service just like we'd want our own family to receive. And that includes face-to-face vetting. There are many things we look for in a caregiver. And many reasons why we insist in this day and age, that they come in person for their interviews:
  • Caregiving is local to our customers in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and other areas of North Orange County. Our office is local to our customers. We want our caregivers to be local, too. Or at least within reasonable driving distance.
  • We want to assess for fit with our clients. We look for personality, attitude and care - all of which becomes easier to assess when meeting in person.
  • We want our caregivers to feel part of our family and the best way is for them to come in and meet our staff. To know that we will be there for them. To know our office team. This way they feel at home with us, while they are at home with you, our clients.
  • We like to go over orientation in person - we invest face to face time in answering their questions.
  • And most importantly, we don't rely on video training alone - we want our staff to get hands-on training in our office in a fully equipped classroom before they go into our clients' homes.
If you have any questions about the way we interview our applicants, the orientation and training they receive, please ask any of our office team by calling 714 261 4101. We LIVE ANSWER the phone 24x7.

And oh, by the way, it's not just our caregiving staff that have to be interviewed in person - all our staff - from caregiver to RN also come in to our office to be interviewed before starting a single shift.
