Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Lexington / West Columbia

We are very fortunate to have Peggy as our Director of Nursing. She brings over 30 years of experience to our BrightStar team. Peggy is a BSN graduate from the University of South Carolina, with experience in the following healthcare settings; Medical Surgical Specialties, Acute Care, Intensive Care, Diabetes, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, and Blood Sugar Education, Training in Prevention of Disease, Rehabilitation, Home Health, Geriatrics and Pediatric Services. She provides oversight and supervision of care for every client.

Susan obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Pschology from Presbyterian College and has over 20 years experience in sales & marketing. She comes from the insurance industry where she understands healthcare needs.  After 20 years of helping groups find the right health plan for their employees, she is now focusing on the individual to make a difference in every person's life each day.  Susan works with case managers, social workers, physicians, insurance agents, and trust officers to empower their patients and clients to age gracefully at every stage of life and remain safely in their homes.
