Yes. Every caregiver completes a thorough screening process before joining our team, including background checks, reference verification, and drug screening.

We proudly serve clients throughout Jefferson County and the surrounding counties in the Louisville area.

BrightStar Care provides personal care, companion care, respite care & skilled care. Our caregivers offer meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support, while also assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, and other daily tasks that help clients remain safe and independent.

Our licensed nurses provide a wide range of skilled nursing services which include, but are not limited to, private duty nursing, medication management, wound care, injections, chronic disease management, and other clinical care needs as directed by a physician.

Yes. Our caregivers can provide care wherever it is needed, including in private homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other care settings.

Yes. We accept many long-term care insurance plans and can assist with the billing process and required documentation.

Yes. Caregivers can assist with many day-to-day activities, including running errands, grocery shopping, and picking up prescriptions, depending on the client’s needs.

Yes. BrightStar Care provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We also provide 24/7 on-call support for clients and families.
