  • Tamara Sleeman

    Director of Skilled Services

One thing I have enjoyed most in my life is helping others in need. After obtaining my CNA license, my passion grew at Lake Manassas Rehab, where I worked as a CNA, staff scheduler and administrative assistant. This allowed me to gain an understanding of how healthcare works and how important it is to provide exceptional care to those in need. After starting at Brightstar Care in 2019 as a CNA, I began to learn more about in-home care; fast forward a few years and I now oversee the entire Skilled Nursing Department. The ability to match those in need with a nurse that fits their needs is what I enjoy most about my position. My focus at Brightstar Care is making sure that every client has an enjoyable experience, and their needs are fully met. When I am not in the office, I can be found in the great outdoors with my husband, our three boys, and our three dogs.

  • Kerry Stagman

    Director of Client Relations

Growing up in South Africa, I was deeply affected by witnessing poverty and my family's efforts to help, which fueled my passion for community service and a career in healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, I gained extensive experience at Loudoun Hospital, particularly enjoying working with seniors.

Transitioning to homecare allowed me to connect more personally with patients and work in various roles, from scheduling to direct care. Now, as the Director of Client Relations, I focus on ensuring individuals receive the best possible care. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, roller skating, playing guitar, and spending time with my husband and two daughters.

  • Trevor Conner

    Client Relationship Manager

In the past I have been a caregiver for my grandmother and worked with youth with disabilities and their families. I have always felt a connection with people and a calling for giving them purpose in life. Soon after I found myself working in a nursing rehab facility in activities where I was able to make them feel alive. For the last 15 years in this geriatric industry, I have worked in rehab facilities for therapy, and in Senior Living Communities in varying management roles. My goal is to make at least one person laugh or smile per day starting with my family. When not in the office I can be found around a basketball court, golf course, or dance floor (while my knees last).

  • Kerry Swift

    Client Relations

After personally experiencing the challenges of elder care management for a family member, I discovered I have a passion for making a difference in the quality of life for seniors at the sunset of their lives.   I have been with BrightStar Care for 8 years as a Client Relationship Manager.  I receive great fulfillment from building relationships with clients and their families.  My clients are my family, and I am committed to ensuring their care experience and satisfaction with BrightStar Care is the highest possible.  Outside of work, I am a recent empty nester proud of my 3 children embarking on their life journeys giving me more time for my interests in water sports, pickleball, and travel.
