I'm the owner and executive director of BrightStar Care of Rancho Cucamonga, which we proudly opened in October 2025. I came to the United States over 20 years ago and built my career in finance and accounting, managing operations across industries from infrastructure to logistics. But my real journey into healthcare began when both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer.

My mom battled stage four colon cancer first. With two little kids at home, one of us had to stop working to care for her. Thankfully, she survived and is healthy today. Later, when my dad was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, we found ourselves constantly calling 911 and teaching ourselves how to manage his care at home. Despite all our efforts and love, we lost him to his battle with cancer.

Through those experiences – the joy of my mother's recovery and the heartbreak of losing my father – I learned firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families trying to balance work, caregiving, and the emotional strain of serious illness. I realized how critical it is to have skilled, compassionate support you can truly trust. It's not just about medical care – it's about comfort, dignity, and ensuring families don't feel alone during their most difficult moments.

When my husband and I explored business opportunities, we knew we wanted something meaningful that could honor my father's memory while helping other families. BrightStar Care stood out immediately because of their Registered Nurse oversight and their combination of skilled and non-skilled care. Coming from finance, I value systems and accountability, but what really drew me in was their mission to provide a higher standard of care.

I believe every client deserves the same level of care and comfort we wanted for both of my parents. When a client's child tells us, "You made such a difference for my mom or dad," that's the biggest reward we could ask for – and I know my father would be proud of the work we're doing. It's not easy to open your home to someone new, but earning that trust and giving families peace of mind is exactly what drives me every day.

When I'm not working with our team to serve Rancho Cucamonga families, I love spending time with my husband and our two children, and I'm grateful every day that my mother is healthy and continues to inspire our mission, while we honor my father's memory through the compassionate care we provide.

How long have you been working in healthcare?

While my professional background spans over 25 years in sales and marketing, my true introduction to healthcare came through watching my family care for my grandmother after she suffered a stroke and developed dementia. I witnessed firsthand the confusion, exhaustion, and heartbreak that comes with trying to navigate care decisions without proper guidance. Those sleepless nights watching my parents struggle—not knowing if they were doing enough, feeling overwhelmed by medical terminology, and desperately searching for resources—changed my perspective on what really matters. That experience planted the seed for why I'm here today.

What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?

I bring a heart that understands what families go through during their most vulnerable moments. My professional experience in building relationships and solving problems gives me the tools to help, but it's my personal experience as part of a caregiving family that gives me the passion. As a military veteran, I've learned the value of having people you can count on during tough times. I joined BrightStar Care because I want to be that reliable person for families in Rancho Cucamonga—someone who truly gets it because I've walked in their shoes.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?

I'm passionate about having the conversations I wish someone had with my family when we were struggling with my grandmother's care. There were so many moments when we felt lost and alone, making decisions we weren't sure about simply because we didn't know what options existed or who to trust. I'm passionate about making sure families in our community never feel that isolated. Every time I can help a family understand their options or connect them with the right care, I think about how much that would have meant to us during our journey.

I remember the relief in my mother's voice when she finally found someone who understood what we were going through and could offer real help. That's what I want to bring to every family I meet—not just information about services, but understanding, patience, and the assurance that they're not alone. I'm here to listen to their story, understand their unique situation, and help them find the peace of mind that comes with knowing their loved one is receiving the best possible care.

As a proud member of the Rancho Cucamonga healthcare community, Saba Aljumhoor brings over six years of nursing experience and an unwavering commitment to helping Inland Empire families age with dignity and independence at home.

Having worked across pediatric sub-acute care, acute care, and home health environments, Saba understands that exceptional home care means becoming a trusted extension of the family. She particularly values serving Rancho Cucamonga's diverse community, where strong family bonds and cultural traditions play such an important role in healthcare decisions.

Her professional integrity and mentorship have built a team that shares her commitment to excellence and community service.

Carla Alvarado is a skilled quality control professional with experience in both inspection and machine operation roles. Carla specializes in analyzing products and component materials to drive operational improvements and ensure compliance with company standards. She brings strong leadership ability, the capacity to perform under pressure, and bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish to every team she joins.

Maria Villa is a compassionate bilingual Registered Nurse with extensive clinical and pharmacy experience, holding a BSN and active California RN license. She has worked in both home health and facility care, specializing in skilled nursing visits, wound care, medication administration, and supporting students with specialized needs. Maria is dedicated to creating positive outcomes for patients and families, drawing on strong communication and organizational skills to provide high-quality, personalized care in English and Spanish.

Stephanie Esqueda is a Certified Nursing Assistant with nearly 10 years of experience in hospital and long-term care settings, known for her compassion and reliability. She supports clients with daily activities and health monitoring while building strong relationships with families and care teams. Stephanie is certified in CNA, CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance and looks forward to bringing her dedication to families in Rancho Cucamonga.

Bayere Daniel Fube is a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant with hands-on experience caring for bed-bound and elderly clients in both home and facility-based environments. Currently employed at BrightSpring Health Services in Rancho Cucamonga, Bayere specializes in assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care, while always promoting client independence and dignity. Bilingual in English and French, Bayere is committed to providing respectful, personalized support for each individual client.

Fatima Tijamo is a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse and mother of four with a strong track record in both facility and home care settings. She is known for her compassion, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety, with experience in therapeutic communication, wound care, and medication administration. Fatima brings a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine focus on supporting clients and their families through every stage of care.

Stanquiesha Davis is a patient-focused caregiver with extensive experience supporting clients through direct care, daily living assistance, and health condition monitoring in both home and facility settings. She is skilled in meal preparation, scheduling, and client advocacy, and brings a positive, detail-oriented approach to every role. Stanquiesha is CPR certified and committed to upholding privacy and safety standards while providing compassionate support to those she serves.

Nora Maramis-Moniaga is a dedicated caregiver with nearly two decades of experience supporting seniors in both assisted living and private home care settings. She is trained in dementia care, medication management, and back injury prevention, and is deeply committed to maintaining the dignity and safety of every client. Nora’s background in both long-term and companion care allows her to build warm, trusted relationships with families, and she is excited to serve the Rancho Cucamonga community with compassion and professionalism.

Leann Ostrowski is an experienced caregiver with a background in both home and skilled nursing facility care, specializing in support for individuals with complex medical and developmental needs. She has extensive hands-on expertise in tube and trach care, ventilator management, seizure assistance, mobility support, and hygiene, honed while caring for her son and other clients through In Home Support Services. Leann is CPR and first aid certified, and is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and respectful care to every client she serves.
